@Jon: Hi Jon. I am taking an Advanced Portrait Photography course at Ryerson University in Toronto. These are shot in a studio using "hot" lights which, in my opinion, causes them to be a bit flat. I will also be using studio strobes with a soft box so the light should wrap and provide more depth. At this point I do prefer portrait photography - what is more varied and interesting than people?
